9 days rest

Any possible injured players back for this?

Marc Overmars

Should be a tough game, Everton are in decent form and are always capable of getting results against the top teams.

Although saying that, we seem to be the side they're generous towards most.

I'll go with another 1-2 win.

About a month or so ago I would have said a point is the best we can hope for here. On current form I'm very confident we can get 3 points from this game, it's going to be very difficult but I'm starting to believe in this team.

Master Splinter

I hope Hibbert plays.

Wilshere, Coquelin and Diaby are about a month away I think. And of course Mertesacker is dead. Still, at least we have a relatively healthy squad for once.

Marc Overmars

I guess the lengthy rest we're getting between games is good as well.

Saying that we have Villa 3 days after this.

Wenger said Diaby will be back for Everton.

Which means he'll collapse while warming up.

And MO, Villa is at home, so it has less Fuck-Up Potential.

3 points written already . Everton give us hard time at the Emirates but at Goodison park they are a kind of charity for us . It gonna be a bit hard but with Arteta in our side their secret will be revealed and we will easily unlock their defence : 1-3 Arsenal .

If those two were playing this would be a banker.

As it is, it's a banker. 1-4 (Kos (og), Kos, RvP (2), Theo)

The bad news, is that he is reffing the Villa game on Saturday.

No changes in the match squad for this game. Wenger says Santos is fit to start (but says he was also fit to start against Newcastle, so presumably Gibbs is preferred to Santos). Expect it to be an unchanged line-up.

Benayoun, Diaby and GHELkinson will probably get a game on Saturday too.

Too much is made of "sitting on a lead for 10-15mins".

Why would you do that when you've got the opposition rattled by scoring? Go and get another.

Although I guess with our fragility at the back we need to be slightly cautious when pouring forward.

I can understand it if you 0-1 up with say 80 minutes to go but to concede pressure for the majority of the match just seems counter-intuitive to me. And it's true we are weak at defending but we're strong at attacking.

And, Global, true. Gary Neville said that what Fergie would be stressing at half time in the Wolves game, is GD and raising it.

Seems Wenger wants to make sure Gibbs gets into the England squad for the Euros, cos otherwise I cant see the point of playing him. Santos was going great guns before his injury and is by far a better player. Gibbs wont even make the squad anyways. Cole and Baines are certs for the LB position unless one gets injured.
