Hi :)

We've changed the way the forum generates it's URL's this evening, so rather than having most of the thread title in the URL (which can cause issues with duplicate threads)... this will mention the forum id or thread id.

As such, we would recommend that you remove all favorites that you may have to any individual threads... and re-create these to prevent any problems!

Thanks

Jofnn;

What about making the URL for "New Posts" static?

Actually, I've figured a way around it.

Make your bookmark http://www.goonersweb.co.uk/forum/search.php?do=getnew&contenttype=vBForum_Post and it'll automatically go to the New Posts page (currently on search id no. 5016!)

You can also use http://www.goonersweb.co.uk/forum/search.php and create the search how YOU want it... :)

Yeah, but I use New Posts as my default page for GW. I only ever click on that, so, because I'm lazy, I needed to get there in one click. Now I've got that http://www.goonersweb.co.uk/forum/ search.php?do=getnew&contenttype=vBForum_Post saved on my bookmarks bar for one-click access to all the posts since I was last on.

Cheers though, that search feature looks really useful. I'll be using it when I need to prove how right I am in arguments on here.
