I actually quite like the shirt tbh, think the kit as a whole would look better with navy shorts instead of sky blue though.

the Fly Emirates is waaay to big, and it was a bit unfair of them to get that Thalidomide guy to model it as well

Tasty piece of kit

Those who don't like it - may I suggest that you get the fuck over it!

We'll have new one next season which you can also buy for £45

I've preferred our training gear in recent seasons. They retail cheaper than main kits and go on sale fairly quickly at places like Sports Direct who always seem to be be flogging stock.

I told you not squeeze that spot :sulk:

Will only buy one if it has gut reduction built in :(

Why don't they just send them out in a sandwich board and be done with it? Piece of shit kit.

25-05-2011, 10:56 PM
I'd possibly buy the shirt, tbh. But, as has been said, sky-blue shorts DO NOT work.

Training tops from this year were nice. Definitely prefer them to the match shirts

Maybe a different setup of those colours could do better. Also, the badge looks a bit overloaded, if can say so.

Plus there will be a white/red (possibly pinstriped) 3rd kit which will be all about the '125th Year' gumph. Having said that, if Arsenal buy a real superstar - Benzema, Hazard or Falcao, then I'll buy this blue shirt and the name and no. for the first time.

Looking on the bright side Diaby's double upper limb amputation should keep him out at lease til Christmas.

Even Coventry fans who play in sky blue and have some shocking kits in the past would think twice before shelling out for this piece a shit.

Must be the worst Arsenal kit I've seen in a while

Not like me to dislike Arsenal kits but this one is a shocker. I see a Puma and Nike swap with Spuds looming in the next year or so. Maybe then we'll get a better kit, albeit with less kudos, and they'll get a traditional stormer of a home kit for a couple of seasons, and then have to endure like us the pain of Nike shit design changes.

Along with Spuds spending a few quid again close season and us spending the usual loose change, with the manager incapable of looking beyond average French players to get us back in the groove, I see us scraping into a creditable fair play place.

Europa Cup beckons. Bayern will do us 0-0 away and 1-1 at home in the preliminary. After that not sure AW wants this one so the kids will be out in force. The future looks failed.

I always prefer blue away kits over yellow. Blue is the colour tbh.

This is the best we've had imo

Just because it's different doesn't make it aesthetically pleasing.

Kaiser

That recent photo makes it look much better and with navy blue shorts it'll be decent. The earlier photos/mock-ups made it have a really light blue contrast with the dark blue.

Also, the 04/05 away kit was the best we've had that isn't yellow and blue.

Yeah i dont mind it either, although i dont think it will go down as one of my favourites.

I agree with Kaiser that the 04/05 is the best away kit we've had in recent years, that and the dark blue pin stripe one from 08/09.

Heard the navy shorts are on and not the sky blue as shown in the first post, that would make it really good. I'am hoping shades are slightly different read better similar to the trainers/ track suit tops that we have already released. Prefer the blue to yellows any day
