Any chance What's New could return to it's former self?

Marc,

You can use the 'old' view by selecting "New Posts" under the forum tab. Or, if you have selected the What's New tab, you can use the "New Posts" option under that.

Would be good to know what everyone else's opinion on it is as well, before making any big decisions.

The new 'What's New' is terrible but since 'New Posts' works it's all good. :good:

Seconded. The activity stream is a disorganised mess. Why do these developers keep changing things? It worked okay before, plus it's a he'll of a lot easier to hit a big button rather than a small link when you are on a phone or amazing Apple IPad which has revolutionised the tablet market and is used by all sorts of cool people.

Ah at least the feature is still available with new posts then.

Right - I'll have a play around and we'll change the "What's new" button so that it utilises the old way... but will provide another option so that you can still use activity stream.

Ok -the changes have been made.

The "What's New" button now loads new posts that have been made (as it did pre-upgrade). A new option has been added called "Activity Stream" for those who want to have a look at this.

Hurrah! Well done John!

Just goes to show that moaning and whining is still by far the best way to get what you want in life!

Sorry, not in my nature. I'm a developer myself so I'm a firm believer that all other developers should suffer like I have to.
