If Arsenal can develop the defensive ethic that Barca have (they chase down every ball, even the back passes to the keeper) and can develop or buy a game changer like Messi, then they are set.

Only way that is potentially going to happen is for Pep to replace Wenger.

You can't play the barca way in every since prem fixture, there not unbeatable, they wouldn't get the protection from refs over here in the epl, players like messi don't grow on trees, and messi wouldn't last half a season before a leg breaker from Huth or Shawcross.

Indeed, if Barca were in the Prem they wouldn't be able to keep it up, although they'd still have the ability to pay off refs so I don't see that changing, they'd just have to share them with Man U.

I don't even think it's money, just northern, xenophobic, incompetent refs who like to feel important in matches. If money was involved it would be less blatant.
