Should Walcott not be played as a striker, looks like he'll plaed as a winger.

Should Walcott not be played as a striker, looks like he'll plaed as a winger.

He's being played as a bowling ball, run head-first at the defender and knock him down like a skittle. Trouble is, Theo's a weed so the tactic is flawed.

He's no BSP that's for sure.

I thought they had just had a pay-day, is this another friendly cash-spinner or a tournament cash-spinner? I suppose that parody of the Word Cup is coming up so they need the same teams to go through the motions of qualifying. Where is it being held this time? The Green Zone in Iraq? Auschwitz?

McNamara That Ghost...
03-09-2012, 04:44 PM
Actual qualifiers this time. Looking forward to seeing the Ukrainian Messi again though.

IMO Oxlade is just going to go out there and play his game. He's just going to run at defenders and enjoy himself.

Oxo loves Cazorla. Can't blame him tbh.

lampards gonna be 36 when rio 2014 starts.

whats the point in picking him for england? give the youth a chance so they get accustomed to the national team otherwise they'll have no experience at the finals.

these managers do my head in.

If players are still good enough then they should be in regardless of age so i have nothing against Lump of Lard wanting on to play until 2014

Problem is, hes a bit shit yet he is picked

Yep lets take a 36 year old lampard to Brazil when its clear he will be out of his depth Gerrad too. We should be playing youth changing things up and he said he would. turning into the same old same old england tbh, just diffrent head coach.

I'd be surprised if Gerrard can still walk come 2016.

GP
05-09-2012, 12:38 PM
Gerrard was undoubtedly a terrific player, but I don't really see the point in him any more. He doesn't have the same running power that he used to, and he's far less effective for it.

Gerrard is an utter prick and typifies scousers apart from some of the gooduns I know, and SiB. He is a ****. I hate him and he denied Oxlade's transfer value from doubling by stealing that shot away in the Euros. He also had a go at Theo's selection in WC 06. Hope he has to suffer the indignity of spending a season on the bench while shit like Shelvey are on the pitch.

But yes, Shelveysingh does seem to be the natural successor to Gerrard.

England are lacking a bit of quality with the CBs. And CMs. And wingers. And the strikers. But apart from that we're fantastic.
