A must win game here if we're to avoid Thurday night footie come next season.

The scums will definitely be seen as the favourites as they currently have that CR7 wannabe having the season of his life, and are perceived to be in better form than us atm.

I'm expecting their over-confidence to be their undoing though, along with the much overlooked fact that they haven't been that good at home this season, scoring a paltry 20 goals (bettered by the likes of Reading) whilst conceding 13.

Hopefully, it will be a routing as we put those turdbags to the sword.

Fake Ronaldo and donkey face Adebayor to share their 2 flukes.

Giroud, Walnut, Cathorla and Poldi picking them off with our 6.

Regardless of the 4th spot, we better win this one. The club owes the fans at least this much after a shit soaked season. Wilshere and Sagna will need to drag us through this one as they understand what this match means to the fans.Don't care if it's 1-0 or 7-6 as long as we win it.

It's an absolute must win, lose this and 4th is gone for sure. There's no massively over-rated twitch to fuck things up this time. We won't catch them if we lose this six pointer. Look at the difference it would have made if we'd have even drawn against the chavs. That match has significantly altered the table. Same goes for this match. we better fucking win it. Just get one thing right this season. Not much to ask. If they can't do this they can fuck off.

Of course the ref will play a big part too so even a good performance might not cut it.

They haven't lost at all in the league since December 9th and that was away.
They've only lost 2 home league games all season, Chelsea and Wigan - the last of those being on the 3rd November.

We've won 5 away league games. Liverpool who have been all over the shop this season and only won 3 of their first 14 games this year, the other 4 games have been against West Ham, Reading, Wigan and Sunderland; all of whom are 13th or lower. We've not beaten a decent side away all season.

Nah.

Agree we won't catch them if we lose but a draw wouldn't be a disaster. Their 6 games after that are:

Liverpool away
Fulham home
Swansea City away
Everton home
Chelsea away
Manchester City home

They're going to drop plenty of points there.

It's about momentum. We win and we'll catch them. Lose and we're done. These are the games seasons turn on. Anyway, if they listen to that monkey bastard going on in the papers I trust they have an ounce of pride to put that right. Does anyone care about any other game after this? Massive game for us this. I personally feel we need 3 points here, we win and I can see us cementing top 4 and those "noisy neighbours" imploding.

A draw wouldn't be a disaster, but we're running out of games so we really should be going there to pick up the points.

My prediction, well personally I don't see us getting anything more than a point out of the game.

Is Frimpong still here or on loan? He needs to take one for the team, start him (even if he's injured) and he runs up and kicks Bale in the knackers full pelt. Job done, we'll be down to ten they'll be down to zero. Should be an easy 3 points after that. All we need to do is make Frimpong memorise a picture of Bale so he doesn't end up booting Jack. Or Diaby can play there too.

Of course, of course. But a double over the spuds is a good season by our standards. It's unambitious to expect more, in the PHW sense, and we know the club is run the right way so all in all things are very positive and I want to feel proud to be part of this club. (Did I get it right?)

Tottenham v Arsenal (16:00 GMT)

The north London derby was a pivotal clash in the battle to be top dog between Tottenham and Arsenal last season, when the Gunners came back from 2-0 down to win 5-2 at Emirates Stadium in February.
It is the same again this season and, although this time the game is at White Hart Lane and Spurs are on a fantastic run, I am going to throw the cat amongst the pigeons because again I am backing Arsenal to come out on top.
The Gunners have had a couple of poor results in the FA Cup and Champions League but in fairness they have had some good results in the league and have won four and drawn one of their last five games.
Arsene Wenger's side are in fifth and you look above them and they are only two points behind a Chelsea side who have got problems of their own, and four points behind Spurs. Obviously that gap will be reduced if Arsenal win on Sunday.
Lawro's prediction: 1-2

MOTD's Jonathan Pearce at White Hart LaneTottenham v Arsenal (1600 GMT)

"The dramatic recent history of this famous old clash would suggest it is impossible to predict. There have been 33 goals in the last six meetings. Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas knows a victory will propel his team a huge way towards the Champions League, leaving rivals Arsenal seven points adrift of their arch-rivals with 10 games to play. It's very difficult to see Arsenal's flimsy defence holding Spurs at bay. They've kept just one clean sheet in 13 games against top six or Champions League opposition this season."

This is getting silly now. Exactly how many clean sheets have the Spuds kept against top six or Champions League opposition this season? Oh yeah that's right, the big goose egg. None.

To be fair none of our attack has really stood out. Can't really pick on Ramsey, Theo or any of the other scapegoats today. In fact going in at half time at 0 - 0 would have been acceptable.

He's a good player, but not quite the star quality some make him out to be. It's when you're in trouble that the best players step up.

Some crappy touches from Giroud, Theo has no idea what the fuck he's doing and it's as if he's left his brain in the dressing room, Wilshere needs to speed up his passing....other than that we shouldn't be going in a 2 goals down! Bad defending for both goals. Nobody tracking the runs and bad decisions. What the heck was Verms doing for the first goal?
