McNamara That Ghost...

Not sure if this occurs when opening the full function to reply rather than quick reply but it is happening, a lot. To all users seemingly.

Also, could I request (like Cripps did) that everyone delete one of their duplicate posts when they do occur. Thanks.

Jofnn's not about tonight so it will have to be up with for at least the rest of the day.

I've mentioned it to him, tried changing the double post part of the admin panel but it doesn't make any difference because the posts are coming out at the same time.

He said he'll be on later today.

So... to summarize:

- Is it happening to everyone?
- Is it happening on specific areas of the forum?
- Is it happening on a specific browser?
- Is it happening at specific times, or for every post?

Need a bit more information on it as everything 'looks' fine from this end

Yes
No
I doubt it, it's happening to everyone and presumably we're not using the same browser
It's every post if you enter in to a new thread and most of the time if you stay in one thread.

Out of interest - when did this start happening yesterday?

McNamara That Ghost...

Not that long before I created this thread. It might've happened earlier in the morning but I wasn't on that much then.

Seems fairly random too. I posted a few times yesterday and it was fine, posted one this morning and it double posted but not all the posts I make do.
As a coder I realise that's not ever so helpful but there's no obvious pattern to it.

We have implemented a fix which should have sorted the double posting issues. Following some testing, we haven't seen any additional double posts.

Please let us know if problems persist for you.

Any chance :pal: could be tweaked so the pointers are in red/white and the sulking one be in white? Shortcut :spud:?

Amazing and typical. I've been asking for that for ages and now IT comes along and asks once and everyone jumps to action. Very typical of the favouritism on GW.

It isn't favouritism.

Its just that we like IT and think you're a ****.

You might want to ask fellow members if that's something they can sort out for you. If someone can get one we agree on, we can add it to the smilies list!
