As things are right now we really should be twatted out of sight, 0 - 4 however football works in mysterious ways. Being the team to sit back and defend may actually benefit us here. I can see us nicking this 1 or 2 nil.

1-3.

City are better than Chelsea and Liverpool and will know how fragile we can be in the big games. The way they started the Man ure game was scary and i dont think we have the players, tactics, organisation or confidence to get anything from this game.

I dont think we have any option but to start with the same team as V Swansea. Maybe Kalstroom for Arteta, Dont even suggest Sonogo for this game. Giroud is our best front man and should and will start. Despite our drubbings by liverpool, cheslea and city away we are unbeaten against the top teams at home. Saying that i think City will win but it will be closer than most predict. 2-0 or 3-1 maybe.

The last thing we need is another bad defeat, no one will beneift from it. The damage has been done and another beating will further dent our ebbing confidence and morale. We have a cup semi coming up and a real fight for 4th so at the very worse a defeat and minimal defeat. Anyone that feels a big defeat will help are deluded. We are getting bashed by the press and rival fans. PLease no, not another stuffing!

Of course Kos is out for this - so our realistic chances are in freefall. I think if we scrape an ill deserved draw based on luck and severe refereeing incompetence in our favour then we have done well and we have also witnessed a referring miracle.

Without Kos, Ramsey, Walcott, Ozil, Wilshere we stand very little chance here. If we had spent a billion quid in the transfer window we'd have suitable replacements, as it is we don't. We shut up shop, try to last the 90mins, forget about attack altogether if we are playing Giroud. What is Giroud going to do against the gypos? Nothing at all. His sole role should be to receive punts from defence and try to at least hold the ball for a few seconds before booting it out of the stadium until they run out of balls.

Quick Question: how would people feel if we lost this game by a big margin?

If it wasn't for the big losses already this season to Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea away I wouldn't really care at all. After all three point is just three points - we weren't ever going to catch Liverpool and City on GD.

However given the low confidence right now because of the recent slump I don't think we can afford another pummeling right now.

Wenger needs to change things around. We are lacking pace completely. We are all huff and puff but City just easily keeping us out at arms length.

I'd take Cazorla off and keep Rosicky on and let him drive. But bring Alex on. At least there's pace there. Podolski needs to support Giroud more.

Man City are just finding this too easy.

Best player we've had so far - Rosicky. Cazorla is just not in the game at all.

Everyone can see we need some pace to stretch and attack that City backline.

We have to run at there back four. There are bbookings too and demechelis is turd. But we aren't particularly threatening. Not really getting behind them or testing the keeper. Technically we can win but I just don't see anything special in this team. No spark.

Don't wish to piss on any fires but I think Poldi should come off. He slows the play up and we need to make quick decisions on the left wing. Love the boy but he's not capable. Bring on the Ox in a free role and we're changing it big.

It is as long as they can let their fullbacks wander forward with no worry abiut being caught. Or their centre backs squeeze the pitch.

It wasn't that bad, he caught him but a red it certainly wasn't, yellow was sufficient, if players got red cards for challenges like that you'd have to abandon games every week because too many players would be sent off.
