Last night with a couple of minutes to go I bet it was mass depression all round as the true level of our shitness dawned on Arsenal fans. However, down the mong end of the Seven Sisters Road, the feeling must have been somewhat more upbeat.

I can picture the joy on Glory Glory now as Arsenal were about to hand Anderlecht their 3rd win in 33 CL attempts. They must have tasted the joy they were about to explode into, shared their elation and planned together how they were going to bask in their reflected glory while rubbing their gooner mates noses right in it.

Then in a couple of minutes, Arsenal walked out with three points and their world caved in around them. Again. As it pretty much always does.

Yet, up the right end of the Seven Sisters Road, victory couldn't have been met with less enthusiasm. The reaction to the apparent dirge, another night of dull tippy tappy dysfunctional triangles, another night of comedic defending, of struggling against the dregs of the ECL could not be masked by victory.

The whole of North London utterly despondent.

On his 65th birthday.

Yes, have you actually ever been to North London, it's generally more apathetic as a rule
