So what is it going to be chaps
We are in Poor form. So are they. Sadly that didnt stop Manu riding roughshod over us last saturday

We have no keeper, no defence, no midfield, no attack.

Nil-Nil TBH. I`ll take it.

Could get quite brutal for Wenget if we're taken apart like we were in the first game.

But I think we'll pub the draw we need or maybe even win it. Yay.

If we want to progress from the group then we're going to need to get something out of todays game.

Personally I think we'll lose this, they will counter attack us like everybody else does.

Post match Wenger will say....

"Look, we had 75% of the possession, we play with spirit and desire, we had 25 shots, they have 3, they score 3 goals...we score 1, I don't know why, I don't know why our defenders play as centre forwards, you know...the spirit is good in the camp, you create the problems in the media, we have no problems"

Ill watch it for the comedy value. Seeing Merts standing on the halfway labouring to catch Aubameyang who has a 5m headstart on him. Should be hilarious, if it wasn't so tragic.

Having blown a 3-0 lead at home to Anderlecht, we have demonstrated we have no real prospect of anything other than elimination as soon as we face any team with quality, or even a shit team that is organized and competebt when it comes to exercising the basics.

I want us to go out of this as early as possible now.

If that means I'm a shit fan, then that is what I am.

Also if we think a defeat will make a difference to Wenger or the board we are deluding ourselves

Would Wenger be sacked if we did?

I know why you've posted that and I see the logic behind it. I don't agree with your premise though that people who go to the matches are necessarily 'believers' and/or 'Muppets.

People go to matches for a variety of reasons. Sometimes the club is the bond that keeps friendships together.

Most people go to matches in the expectation that their team will win.
Anyone who still goes to the Emirates these days expecting that IS a muppet.

Crashing out of Europe could not happen regardless of tonight's result, if we lose tonight and Anderlecht and Galatasaray draw we are through, if Galatasaray or Anderlecht win we will finish at least third.

So whatever happens we will still be playing European football of one form or another after Xmas

In actuality the result means nothing, we are still getting the tv revenue and gate receipts for the game and if we win its not going to suddenly change people's minds on Wenger.

By my seem less logic all fans going to the stadium expect to win (do we?) and therefore all fans are muppets but I respect all fans.

Mind shatteringly brilliant

On the other hand, wearing a tshirt that says "Wenger out" (you own such a garment?) isn't exactly like wearing a t shirt with "Free Sidney Cooke" on it so I don't see why you shouldn't be let in. For me the divide shouldn't be Wenger In/Wenger Out it should be between He's a legend but he's had his day and I hate him so much that I cut myself on his Birthday every year (the true Muppets)

Somehow i doubt it. The guy with the poster was escorted out and the Club themselves have said they dont allow protests in the stadium. "For safety reasons". Overall however...they wont be seeing a penny of my money for a while.

I normally go to all the midweek games as I play at the weekends. Haven't been once this season though, can't be arsed to pay to see the same mistakes repeated. Agree with the sentiment nothing will change though as there will always be demand for tickets due to the size of the fanbase. The club know this, hence their complete disregard for the fans when it comes to ticket prices.

I don't think the stakes are high enough to play Bellerin in yet. We need to wait for a really big game so we can throw him in at the deep end, leave him desperately exposed and shatter his confidence. We can then follow up with a shitty training program that gets him injured. Then we can loan him out next season and sell him to QPR the season after.

We seem to play better football with Sanogo up front. He's got a lot in his locker. He just doesn't know how to utilise it.

Yeah yeah we want a world class striker but I think we are fine with Welbeck up front plus supporting cast....fit again Walcott, of course Sanchez and Ox who is playing really well IMO

We also have Ozil, Carzola et all

Wenger needs to solidify things....a brute of a DM (take us back to the days of Paddy V) and a solid corps of CB....not sure if we need Cech but if it helps Ches get over his brain farts then I'm down with it.
