Champions always get a newly promoted team. So Utd will get Swansea.

We'll get Spurs away.

It's all a fix, so as we're under pressure, we're getting a cunt of a first fixture.

McNamara That Ghost...

What fixture are you going to look for first? Well, second. We're all going to want to see who we've got first game up.

Same here for you boys actually. Sunderland at home for us I reckon, although McLeish would probably prefer United away to soften the blow

And as for Boxing Day....

LDG

Oh the Spuds! Which fixture moreso though?

The lane.

I want a big game for the first one tho. We had the perfect fixture list last year. Got all those away games out of the way before Christmas.

Two teams I really want revenge on.

Spuds and Stoke.

Looking forward to playing the superhoops too.

Wonder if Man Utd will get a piss easy home game as their last game of the season to make sure that if the run in goes to the last game, they have a comfortable home game

No comfortable games tbh

Didn't blackpool notch two past them at OTon the last day this year?

Mancs for sure.

Probably a promoted team as well so Swansea going to Man City is possible. What else?

Don't worry. That'll be the wake up call that we'll need to spur us on, all guns blazing, to come out fighting, siege mentality, backs against the wall, ... blah, blah, etc.

Well, one of the players will be saying that on the Arsenal website.

Toronto Gooner

I have just finished inputting the details for my annual seasons' comparisons and noticed something very interesting: Chelsea has the easiest schedule.

Chelsea does not meet another member of the Top 6 group until the 5th game of the season whereas all the others meet at least one for the 2nd or 3rd game. Indeed, Arsenal, Man U and Spurs have back to back Top 6 games for games 2 and 3.

In the first 10 games, the number of Top 6 games are
Arsenal 4
Man U 5
Spurs 4
Liverpool 3
Man City 2
Chelsea 2

Additionally, Chelsea never have to face Top 6 teams in back to back matches. All others have at least one of these.

Our run in is pretty good so if we can stay in contention and don't collapse (I know, but let's just imagine) then in theory we'd have a decent chance.
