For League Two-related shenanigans.

AFC Wimbledon start life in the Football League with a home game against relegated Bristol Rovers on Saturday, 6 August.

Fellow new boys Crawley Town, the title favourites, are away to Port Vale.

Relegated Plymouth are at home to play-off semi-finalists Shrewsbury, while beaten finalists Torquay host Burton.

Swindon, who finished bottom of League One last season, are at home to Crewe, while Dagenham & Redbridge are away to Macclesfield.

Bradford host Aldershot on the opening day of the 2011/12 season, while Gillingham are at home to Cheltenham.

Morecambe start off at home to Barnet, who only escaped relegation to the Blue Square Bet Premier on the final day.

Northampton are at home to play-off semi-finalists Accrington, while Oxford United are away to Rotherham.

Southend host Hereford in the other opening fixture.

For AFC Wimbledon, it is their maiden season in the Football League after being formed in 2002 following the Football Association's controversial decision to allow Wimbledon FC to move to Milton Keynes. In those nine years they have won five promotions, having started in the Combined Counties League.

Big-spending Crawley, who are already the bookmakers' favourites for promotion, are also in the League for the first time after winning last season's Blue Square Bet Premier title with a record 105 points.

Di Canio. :haha:

Went loopy, again. His post match interview was especially hilarious (for Swindon).

Also, Plymouth are out of the relegation zone. :yikes:

BSP. :haha:

Also, somehow Plymouth have pulled off a Wigan and are now safe in the Football League for another season.

Peter Reid.

Barnet could still go down though.

Swindon are promoted, just one win needed for Di Canio's above prophecy to come true. :scarf:
