Don't think it will be that comprehensive but yeah I can only see a Liverpool win. Unless Mourinho does a number on them by setting up defensively and stealing it on the counter.

United win for me 2-0 or 2-1

Mourinho won four of his six league trips to Anfield as a manager

Liverpool are poor defensively and even though Klopp is good at getting his teams to play a pressing game which Mourinho finds difficult to deal with as a manager, I don't think the quality of Liverpool in midfield is good enough to play that pressing game the way City did at Old Trafford last month.

I'm watching the US coverage stream and their waxing lyrical about Mourinho's tactical setup. :sarcy:

On a side note, it's crazy the number of big sponsors that are advertising during the match (VW, Mercedes, JD etc etc) ......... just shows you how much soccerfootball has exploded in popularity over in the states over the past decade.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho on BBC Sport: “It is not the result we wanted but it is a positive result, it is a result that stops a direct opponent getting three points at home so not a bad result.

“The game was difficult for both teams but for longer periods it was more difficult for them than us.

“We controlled the game not just tactically but the emotion of the game, that was probably the quietest Anfield I had and I was expecting it to be the other way.

“I think was a positive performance.

“If you analyse the game see the reason why did it, playing Young and Fellaini. We had control of the game – there were two amazing saves by David de Gea it’s true but they were out of context.

“The reaction from their crowd was permanent disappointment. People expected us to come here and be really in trouble, which we were not.

“The team was always comfortable, we lacked a little bit of sharpness in more attacking positions. There was a moment I thought about playing Rashford in the Pogba position behind Zlatan but then the kid had cramps.

“This is a point that stopped them winning three. Other candidates for the title have easier fixtures at moment and it is important to keep close to them – our opportunity to get five wins in a row will come.”

Talking about the easier fixtures, that has to be about us right?

You just drew against Stoke at home shithead!

What an uber cunt. An utterly awful human being devoid of any semblance of decency. He seems incapable of doing a presser without some kind of implicit reference to us. How unimaginably agonizing it must be for him to see us joint top whilst being praised for our brand of footie.

Truly the enemy of footie. Can't wait for his inevitable meltdown after he fucks up at the filth and the glory hunting plastics start calling for his ousting.

I find it strange how there is this big media push to get Giggs a job as a premier league manager. He always comes across as a total mong and he has next to no experience as a manager.

Tend to agree, if this was a game near the end of the season where a team needed a point to be champions you'd think ok....fair enough.

But don't see how point benefited Mourinho really, more interested in maintaining this prestige of good head to head record against the top sides by being unbeaten.

Dunno what the fuss is about the way United played last night, smaller clubs always play defensively against the bigger clubs. If they can nick a point against the big clubs and win some matches against teams about their level, it will be a good season for them.
