So much hype for United and Liverpool yet it is undoubtedly the dullest big fixture of recent years.

What a goal, what a finish! Great technique. It's a terrible goal to give away, a Sunday League goal really. What was Alexander-Arnold doing? But what a reaction from Rashford.

Chris Waddle.

This is where Liverpool need an out and out striker. No focal point, no leading man up top, just passing it round the sides and attacking midfielders running down channels. Utd coping with them easy.

Niall_Quinn
10-03-2018, 01:42 PM
Horribly ironic that Young gets away with conceding a pen there because Salah doesn't dive. Young would have hit the deck in a split second and he've had got his penalty. The cheats are being rewarded and the honest players are being penalised. These ridiculous refs will play the stupid "there was a touch" rule all day long, even though that's not in the rules, but only if the player goes down. The refs are just as responsible as the players for all the cheating going on.

McNamara That Ghost...
10-03-2018, 01:42 PM
Massive appeal for handball, nothing given.

Niall_Quinn
10-03-2018, 01:49 PM
I guess now they have successfully sabotaged VAR it's back to business for these refs. Player literally thrown to the ground, but no foul. Ref is digging in and playing the 12th man for Maureen's second half stifling and wrecking tactics.

McNamara That Ghost...
10-03-2018, 01:50 PM

Many of these players would have spent their careers nicking hubcaps if they hadn't made it in football. Carragher's one of them. Rooney too. Scumbags. But they earn a ton of cash, get dressed up in an ill-fitting suit and suddenly they are respectable by modern standards. But it's all for show.

Remember that scum Shearer? When he kicked that player in the head? Could have killed him. Now he's a "respectable" presenter on the BBC.

With somebody like Joey Barton, at least you know what you are getting. He's honest in a way the other scumbags aren't.

not to mention elbowing that defender and ruling out Campbell's header against Argentina - still don't understand why he isn't reminded about that on a daily basis, or at least whenever he says 'oh that wasn't a foul' when a striker is shown beating up a defender on MOTD...

Adolf Hitler and Joe Stalin were both unavailable for comment because they are dead. But if they had been alive, I'm sure they'd be disgusted.

And did you hear the poor girl crying in the back of the car?

No, neither did I.

Well done dad, using your kid to set up a pay day. Nice one.

A real scumfest this one.

Sky TV, monster creation of the appalling Murdochs. Should they or shouldn't they sack him for this atrocity? Or maybe give him a job reporting on WMD in Iraq?

It's fascinating watching people and how fake they are. Sanctimonious sinners one and all, and so eager to leap into jackal virtue signalling mode when a wounded pack member gets separated.

Couldn’t care less about the so called “victims”

But don’t spit at people, you’re not a camel

End of the day rightly or wrongly if you are high profile you can’t get away with that shit.

Should the guy in the other car be suspended from his job?.

No but only because he doesn’t have one

And I'm certainly not condoning Carragher's behaviour, which is likely far from a one-off moment of madness as suggested by the guy in the video.

But I think I despise even more the self righteous pricks who crawl out of the woodwork to jostle for the best spots on the virtue platform. People are so pure when somebody else has fucked up.

The Radio 2 host hit out at Carragher, branding his actions 'disgusting' and 'certainly sackable' but implied that using a phone on the motorway was worse as the man should go 'straight to jail'.

He wrote: 'Spitting: disgusting, possibly criminal, certainly sackable.

'Filming on a mobile while driving a car with a child in the back, on a motorway, paying no attention whatsoever to the road: straight to jail.'

Interesting. So you think that the punishment should be determined by the consequences, not the action?
So if someone tries to shoot you but misses then it's fine, no-one was harmed so no harm done?

Obviously neither of them should go to jail, but he should be fined and have points on his licence.

Silly argument.

If somebody deliberately shoots a gun at you they must be trying to kill you. That's attempted murder. There intent and there's an intended victim. And the harm doesn't need to be physical.

For your analogy to be useful the guy would have to jump in his car and grab a phone with the intent of harming somebody. He didn't. No crime. So the stupid cunt Vine wants him to be charged with a pre-crime.

Politicians and judges should go to jail for raping children, don't you think? Rather than think up new pre-crime laws for the rest of us.

That might be the whole point, but no crime has been committed regardless. A statute has been breached, but that's not real law.

And this particular statute is not there to prevent crimes but rather to prevent accidents. A totally different intent. Even so, if you want to apply both the letter and the spirit of a law you can't go around jailing people for what they might do. That doesn't stop our cunty trumped up political scumbags trying it on though. They pretend their laws are real and we pretend the same, that's all that is happening here.

Vine's a nasty little fascist dick either way.

So if I go out blindfolded then and start shooting randomly. Should I only be prosecuted if I hit someone?
If I didn't then, well, I did something potentially dangerous but no-one got hurt so no harm done?

That depends. If you're in the outbacks of Alaska on a lone hike then no. If you live in the middle of a busy street then sure. You couldn't possibly argue a case for accident under those circumstances. There's still a clear intent there, firing a gun in a crowded place is highly likely to cause injury or death and only a fool would think otherwise. Which is why we have defence options based on insanity and mental instability.

It seems you aren't capable of viewing law and order from a humanitarian or libertarian viewpoint. Instead you seem caught up in the phoney declarations from real criminals who claim they are entitled to make up laws as they go. In fact I doubt you can even tell the difference between a criminal and a citizen any more because just about everyone is a criminal in one form or another. What's that saying that talks about breaking a whole bunch of laws every day without even realising it? That's what happens when you have an endless flow of fake law. All of it (all of it) is designed to enrich the state in one form or another (apart from the natural and legitimate law that was there long before these cunts arrived in their fancy dress).

So you'll probably say driving with a phone is similar to firing a gun around the place. Of course it's not, but let's accept the faulty argument.

How many people die or are injured as a result of mobile phone usage while driving?

Now compare that to the number of people harmed or killed through driving in general.

Conclusion. Driving should be banned and all drivers should be jailed. It's dangerous and people could get killed as a result - and the evidence is there to prove it.

In fact that's exactly what these cunts are cooking up for us. Driverless cars. The implications are mid blowing in terms of liberty, but most will only see the badge on the car I suppose.

The bottom line. Maybe 1 in a million people jumps in a car with the intent of harming somebody. Made up stat because it's not the sort of thing that's measured. The ony "safety" regulations that are measured and enforced are the ones that make a few cunts richer. I think we all know that don't we? If we're honest.

Conclusion. Driving should be banned and all drivers should be jailed.
It's dangerous and people could get killed as a result - and the evidence is there to prove it.
This is a stupid argument which no-one is making.

Driving is a potentially dangerous activity.
So, like any potentially dangerous activity it should be assessed how it should be regulated to minimise the risks as far as possible.
It would be nice if everyone was sensible and could be trusted to drive safely but they aren't.
This is why we have speed limits.
They are not there because "the man" is out to restrict your liberty. It's to make things safer for everyone. Personally I think the limits are pretty ridiculous at times, they come from a time when cars didn't brake so efficiently and could do with some reviewing. But I think there should be some limits because there are some idiots who would tear around dangerously.

It's pretty reasonable that people should be expected to pay attention when they're driving. Using mobile phones while driving is clearly a distraction so I'm on board with there being laws against it.
You asked for some statistics. Here:

https://www.edgarsnyder.com/car-accident/cause-of-accident/cell-phone/cell-phone-statistics.html

The National Safety Council reports that cell phone use while driving leads to 1.6 million crashes each year.
Nearly 330,000 injuries occur each year from accidents caused by texting while driving.
1 out of every 4 car accidents in the United States is caused by texting and driving.
Texting while driving is 6x more likely to cause an accident than driving drunk.
Answering a text takes away your attention for about five seconds. Traveling at 55 mph, that's enough time to travel the length of a football field.
Texting while driving causes a 400% increase in time spent with eyes off the road.
Of all cell phone related tasks, texting is by far the most dangerous activity.
94% of drivers support a ban on texting while driving.
74% of drivers support a ban on hand-held cell phone use.

So yeah, I don't think it's an outrageous restriction of your liberty that you're not allowed to get your phone out and play Candy Crush while you're driving.
It's not really about intent here. I'm sure the bloke wasn't intending to harm anyone by videoing while driving but it is potentially dangerous and distracting.
How can he possibly have been properly concentrating on driving if he was doing that?

Above you called him scum and said he should "be done". What are you arguing now?
