There will be a lot more of this to come. If governments and corporations think they can screw every man, woman and child on this planet and get away with it without some sort of kickback then they are naive. What I wish is these fucking stupid arseholes would at least hit their targets and not blow the shit out of innocent bystanders. FFS, they're as bad as the serial killing cunts in government. Only difference being is they can't get away with labelling their atrocities as collateral damage.

Couldnt agree more NQ
but who can we say were the targets when 80 teenagers are shot dead at a summer camp/picnic organised by the Labour Party!

84 people were shot dead. 84. FFS.

And of course the 7 dead from the bomb attack also. Just horrible.

And it could rise even further as well; hundreds were at the camp.

It's almost too horrific to comprehend.

Cowardly.

A second gunman may be at large apparently.

Actually, there has been another arrest now.

The problem is that the innocent bystanders are the targets and there is no collateral damage.

Pathetic coverage from Sky News, especially the insinuation that it was Islamic extremists behind the attack despite there being no evidence who the perpetrator was at the time. Even when there was news that a Caucasian man had been arrested, Sky still failed to make that point on their coverage until quite a long time later. And the Labour MP Tom Watson also claimed it was so called Islamists without any evidence whatsoever on Twitter, and is not apologising for jumping to conclusions.

It was because of his hatred of Islam though. So it is their fault after all tbf!

Also, this time it's not Terminator 2 or GTA/Call Of Duty to blame, but Dexter! It said he was a fan on his Facebook page.

No doubt the tabloids will bang on about Christian extremists. Or maybe not. ;)

Probably, they'll make up any old shit and many people will believe it. Is this the same camp that had a pro-Palestinian rally the day before? The Norwegian government is on the verge of recognising the Palestinian state. Abbas was in Oslo on Monday. The BBC seems to have missed this in its central analysis.

The long BBC article on the Norway violence only mentions "terrorism" or derivatives ONCE. I wonder how often "terrorist" and "terrorism" would be used if the perpetrator was a Muslim.

The Norwegian gov will charge Anders Behring under terrorism law. But it is only a matter of time till the far right media (and European in general) will dismiss him as a "madman" instead of linking him with far right neo nazi supremist/terrorist group or religious extrimist. Had the offender being dark hair, bearded man, the story would have been very very different IMO. :coffee:

NQ, it appears that in his 1500 page manifesto, he turns out to be a Zionist, so that could also be a possible motive, but it's just speculation atm.

Breivik sentenced to at least 21 years in jail.

McNamara That Ghost...

21 years? I'm confused - does that mean mass murder carries the same weight as one murder?

Norway have quite lenient sentencing, I think that's the maximum they could impose.

McNamara That Ghost...
24-08-2012, 09:29 AM
Well, there's leniency and then there's that. Having said that, even if helps out in the kitchen I wouldn't have thought he'd be considered anything other than a danger to society, by 2033.

What a waste of time and money this trial was, and to think he'll be free in 21 years. Pathetic. He should have just been shot on sight when he was apprehended.

Once again 'Human Rights' are protecting the bad guys.

21yrs is the maximum allowed by Norwegian law but he can remain locked up after that if he is still deemed to pose a threat to society. Which you'd imagine he probably will.
