I get my A level results tommorow :(
Absolutely dreading it! I can't see past the day like what I'm gonna do on friday night etc. Arghhhhhh!
So anyway, when i get my results i need to confirm my place at my first choice or second choice uni. If I don't get in to any uni then I'll have to redo the year and pay 9grand to unis next year which i am not doing!!!

It must be an incredibly stressful time for you. The stakes are pretty high for A level students in any given year, this one particularly moreso. I hope you get the grades you need.
I'm getting my AS results tomorrow. They can fuck up a uni application too, so :upset:

I'd rather pass first time. Especially as i'm lucky to be in the last group of people in the country to be able to pay over 3grand a year for uni!

Dreaded my results day but thankfully I got what I wanted. I'll never forget this girl who was expecting AAA and ended up with ABB. She was on the floor with the head in her hands crying. Fucking bint.

The degree you get will be worthless but you'll have a shitload of fun.

What do you want to do?
At uni?
Modern languages.
Which obviously has a political slant, and I really enjoy politics, and I have no future in biology, but might need it to make the grades to get a conditional offer. Plus daddy's a biology professor, so he could help me through that, but... argh.

Seem to be a more coherent set of A-Levels. I nearly did Biology but my grade in Physics was better and looking back Maths, PHysics and Computer Science (which is what I did) were a far better set to do. Quite a few people on my course at Uni did the same 3.
Sure, but my grade in Bio is better than in politics, and with so much competition around I might need to get up to a higher grade, regardless of whether it's relevant.

Biology of course. Politics, French and German gets you a cushy number in the EU, pay, perks, prozzies and no work to do. Biology means you'd have to work for a living, not a smart move these days.

drop german or french and get the politics up to grade a/b. will make your resume look much better plus you dont need 2 languages.
