Gonna see Black Stone Cherry in a couple of weeks as my inter-exam break.

Also managed to get tickets for Bon Iver, who come here in November. Can't wait, the new album is brilliant (from the four songs I've heard).

You lot been to any gigs recently, or are there any you're going to?

vpgreg, Dave McPherson at cricketsi's wedding doesn't count.

Well fuck knows who I've PM'd.

I have no hope here.

On topic - I hadn't heard of Bon Iver til you posted on FB - Fantastic stuff.

Justin Vernon is pretty amazing. Wrote + composed all the songs and played all the instruments for "For Emma, Forever Ago" in a log cabin in Virginia, or something like that. Haunting, with brilliant instrumentals. Glad you like them.

Pissed off. Seetickets has done away with it's A-Z listing, which means I can't have a gander at stuff that's not on their main "selected gigs".

Kinda like having a trawl through that. Sometimes you find some gems you wouldn't normally find.

However will you cope? I hope you don't turn to drink because of this.
