What's this shit about Ches last week. According to the rule it was no way a red, unless the ref thought it was a violent challenge. And 90% of the challenge was Cole doing his ridiculous dive. It was fucking yellow. They're STILL going on about it. A week later and they still can't handle that Chav loss! LOL. Twats.

McNamara That Ghost...
05-11-2011, 12:28 PM

Niall_Quinn
05-11-2011, 12:32 PM
Wondered how they'd turn RvP into a negative. Major error not starting him in the CL. Major, major, error. At least Le Tiss was talking sense but they cut him off.

McNamara That Ghost...
05-11-2011, 12:33 PM
Well that was a well balanced discussion. It's important we finish top of our group apparently - we probably will and in the meantime Milan beat Barca.

Niall_Quinn
05-11-2011, 12:34 PM
Merson called Sirchesney the best in the league

He qualified that by saying he doesn't think he's the best in the league, he just thinks he's played the best. Maybe, maybe not, he's up there though. Can't think of anyone better so far.

Niall_Quinn
05-11-2011, 12:36 PM
Well that was a well balanced discussion.

So the 5-3 proves we're still shit, Ches should have been off, RvP is grudgingly okay (with a few provisos) and he might even be better then Suarez. Best we could have hoped for really. Years of us fucking up in the big games and those bastards moaning about it. Then we don't fuck up. So they moan about it.

Someone earlier said Rafa never spent 35 million on a striker, 20 million on a winger and 16 million on a CM in a single season.

Fair enough, but imagine who Rafa could/would have bought if he did have that money.

Aguero for 35 million (whether he'd come here or not would be a diff story, but he woulda been the main target)

Mata for 20 million

Javi Martinez for 16 million

Kenny's buy British policy isn't really working, is it? His 2 most successful signings have both been non-British.

From these highlights, the defending in this QPR-Man City game is just as bad as anything we've seen this season. And that's saying something.

There's space everywhere.

City's third was a joke. Zero pressing in the midfield, a lazy pass wide left. Again no pressing, a casual cross into the box, nobody there to challenge and a simple and relaxed header into the net. We'd slaughter our defenders on here if that happened (and we have when it has happened in the past). City look worse than us when Kompany isn't playing. If they lose him for any lengthy period they will be in a boat we were in a while back, unable to defend and having to outscore the opponents. This will probably work as well for them as it worked for us. Plus they have Clichy and eventually he'll start to cost them, although I notice he is suddenly an excellent defender according to the media.

Good finishes for the 2nd and 3rd goals but enjoyed the first one more mainly cos its the type of goal we rarely score. A rebound off the keeper is usually cleared as RVP is usually outside the area doing his hair.

RPQ are a strange team. Rubbish against 9-man Chelsea, but excellent against Citeh.

Newcastle and Liverpool conned each other. Well, at least Liverpool got £15m for their's.
