I put on the news to find out about practical things such as travel disruption. What do I get?
Some dickhead 'reporter' by the coast creaming himself over the cause and effect of big winds and big waves. Thank fuck I now know that storm force winds cause big waves and sea spray right at the coast.
As for practical news that someone can use, there is bugger all other than a stream of 'reporters' and 'newsreaders' talking in mildly panicked tones about how they'll keep us up to date with what is going on, all the while doing everything but keeping us up to date with what is going on.
And no! I do not want to send the BBC my fucking pictures.
