Christ, Liverpool are gonna be even more up for it on Weds...

Great, that’s all we need. A hungry Liverpool pressing us like mad men.

I think we'll have a real go at Liverpool tomorrow - we might still end up getting schooled, but if you're trying to change the culture at a club then you don't get to pick and choose games you believe you can win and games you're mentally writing off. That belief has to be all the time and unwavering, and any setbacks have to be seen as nothing more than a bad day at the office and not a result of hitting a ceiling. Nervous, but also looking forward to seeing what we can come up with for once.

If we play as well as we did on NYD against City, we should get a result. City were a bit passive that day but I’m pretty sure Liverpool will turn up looking to pump us, so we will have to be very aggressive as Klopp has had us on toast for a number of years now. As always though, these games often turn on fine margins and we cannot afford to be wasteful. Got to take a chance or two if we get on top of them.
Very much looking forward to it. Atmosphere should be rocking.
