Liverpool would definitely have won the title from the position we were in. Having an elite coach tends to make the difference in those moments.

I think Liverpool did in one of the seasons but it was much earlier on and then they did take it right to the end tbf.

it's not mutually exclusive, City are a juggernaut but also i think maybe the team lost their nerve a bit but ultimately that was down to Arteta a) not managing the players well enough b) his not rotating enough and tiring out the players, plus his slavish adherence to one set of tactics
