I've watched whole programme now, Miguel Delaney seemed to be suggesting, in the same way Adrian Durham does that 03/04 somehow weren't going for the wins and instead playing for draws and therefore 100 points is a much more impressive achievement. Also not much of an achievement when you lose cup games apparently (of course we played the first XI against Middlesbrough in the League Cup ).
No mention of at least three matches where we conceded last minute equalisers along with the draws that happened after we won the league.
Man Utd weren't that great a team in 98/99 or rather I think there was very little between us and them that season, difference they had were having four regular goalscoring strikers, which goes a long way.
I have a difficulty deciding on this debate thinking about other competitions either; it makes the question ultimately pointless in the first place.

FIFA are going to propose a new Club World Cup, featuring several top European sides.
It could be Saudi-backed and offer up 100m for the clubs involved.
Lets face it, the bubble is never going to burst is it?
