Marge, is Lisa at Camp Granada?
:(
Texted a mate yesterday, he was my best man. Saw him a month or so ago but we don't keep in touch that regularly and I haven't heard from him since.
Thought I'd send him a message to see how he's doing. He replied saying he's been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
He's currently having biopsies to see how bad it is.
He's only my age which, for the record, isn't that old.
It's made me think about my mortality a bit! :( :oldboy:
Dont worry, BoJo will finish you off long before any mortal disease can claim your body
Not if I keep eating cakes at the rate I do :sulk:
A friend of my wife's found out he had a tumour and he was dead within 7 months. He was only 32.
It does make you realise how fortunate we all are and it also makes you appreciate the important things in life.
Have a feeling my mate is going to be OK, if Rod Stewart can see this off I'm sure he can.
Had rocked me a bit though.
I really really do need to go and get myself checked out. Basically feel OK but I'm getting to the age when things are starting to go wrong with bits of me (not those bits) and much better to deal with things sooner than later.
This looks like a whole lot of fun
