    US Drone attacks in Pakistan

Why has there been so little coverage of the US's military strikes in Pakistan, that has killed so many civilians and children? Finally, we have a journalist brave enough to stick his neck on the line and expose the hypocrisy of the Obama administration that claims to want to engage with Muslim countries but at the same time is bombing them indiscriminately.

I agree. No surprise to see Arseblog conveniently ignoring the issue. He has always been beardophobic!

Jokes aside, it's a pretty big issue IMO. You're not going to win "hearts and minds" in Pakistan when you keep bombing a country that has is already suffering regular terrorist attacks and recently faced devastating floods. You're in effect creating the exact conditions where extremism can flourish. Much better to focus on economic development, trade, cooperation etc.

Mmm, it's probably overshadowed by the estimated 50,000 or so Pakistan citizens killed by the Taliban, but that wouldn't fit your argument so...

And it's not the US military that operates in Pakistan it's the CIA with the tacit backing of the Pakistan government that knows where the greatest threat to their internal stability lies and that's not with the US.
