Couldn't give a shit about 3rd, 4th or any other loser spot. This is a straight shoot out with the spuds and as such is more engaging than the rest of this dull nothingness of a season. The club and the players couldn't care less, they'll be in it for themselves and I think many fans even accept this attitude now. But there's still something there for some of the fans in terms of the rivalry. That's slipping too though, isn't it? A decade back this would have been huge. Now it's a bit, hope we do it but wrists are safe if we don't.
