He deffo had a good game but then so did our defence and i think thats the key for Our Gk's to have a good games, feeling confident the four infront of him is protecting him well.

But he'd not be 1st choice GK though or 2nd.

He only made 10 Apprences in the 1st team. and its not like he was ever 1st choice so it was expected he'd make mistakes not like he has played 38 games in the last 7 years and been rubbish.

As per the previous weekend, genuine penetration from out wide wasn't good enough. We played too centrally. And when we did get it wide, the decision making was poor.

Nothing else was wrong IMO. Giroud and Podolski will be fine.
It's better to burn out, than to fade away.

    he's a liability.

went to barnsley on loan, cocked up a cross on his debut which led to the opposition scoring the goal. then in the following game he flapped at a cross which led to them losing again.

then who can forget that champions league night against standard liege when he let in 2 goals inside the opening 5 minutes.

    he's shit. get rid.

Mannone did well in this game.

Dont think hes the answer to our keeping problem and we do need another keeper but im not going to critisise the guy after a good game

Agree with the rest of your post. The bit i bolded i think when they all score that 1st goal and get confidence they will all be fine.
The media are comparing him to the **** and hes never going to be as good as that. Not this season anyway. Most if not all Gooners will be happy if Giroud got between 15-20 this season. In the medias eyes that would be him flopping but who gives fuck about the media anyway?

Lets hope all 3 get their first goals at Anfield and so does our keeper, Jenkinson, Mert and the others chip in with one as well.

    0-11 to us. Its happening

That's always been our problem and it's down to the type of players we buy and play outwide and in the centre. Poldoski and Walcott aren't the type of wide players that can create chances. Gervais Lombe Yao Kouassi (he has no right to be called 'Gervinho') has no end product and was really poor last week. Giroud looks like the type of striker that depends on service and we're looking real light on creative players at the moment.

Ox is the only wide player that fits the bill. He's direct when he wants to be, has end product and pace. Wenger has to decide on where the creativity is going to come from. It's either the centre or flanks but so far we're short in both areas. It's not just exclusive to this season, you just know from the opening of game whether we're going to fly or not. Wenger needs to adjust the balance of the squad. Last week, he said three strikers didn't work but he goes and does the same again and just starts Giroud with Poldoski outwide and Walcott on the bench. It's still three strikers up front.

Mannone is the 3rd choice keeper and as such is very good quality for his role at the Club.
