    I don't think he dived as such. Sometimes you anticipate the tackle and the contact, even if you don't actually get caught - I've done it myself before. One of the indicators as to whether someone is deliberately trying to con the ref is if the player looks to the ref and Bale never did or appealed from what I saw.....
    Come on, we all know he's anticipating contact
    Bale didnt appeal and wasn't he looking for a foul. I think some on here would rather he broke both his legs than move out of the way from dangerous tackles.
    Bale did not "dive." He expected the goalie to clatter him.

    Problem is when someone elbows a utd player like this, then they too must get away with it or the fa wil look more stupid then they do.
