I think it’s because he’s lost two games they’ve given it to him - they’re hoping to get another ‘bounce’ effect that will secure CL football. The money they get for being in the CL easily covers his wages. Hopefully it’s a major fuck up on their part. Either way, Pochettino stays at Spurs next season.
