Got to hand it to Sky and the premier league. Totally cool of them to put us on a Saturday night match when we’ve played three days earlier away in Portugal. Because why? The league cup match tomorrow which no one outside of Liverpool or Chelsea gives a flying fuck about.

Bit of a grudge match this one. The game at St James Park was a bit spicy and that’s before we get to their contentiously awarded goal. So expect to see a few sly elbows thrown around. Not the greatest confidence bringer in the world losing a goal and a match in injury time (usually us that gets the goals at that time)
Could do with some fresh legs ideally, but wouldn’t be surprised if we start the same team again. Next fixture isn’t for nine days against Sheffield United and this is a must win
