they don't issue silver tickets anymore so once it's gone you either have to get red or an ST

silver gets you ahead of red members in the queue for big games etc...

I thought carefully last year and ended up renewing my silver membership last season. It came in handy when Hymppi needed a ticket on a trip over from Finland. Other than that, it spent most of the season with Letters who used it for one match.

I still have another day to think about it. I love what Arsenal was but I can’t stomach giving Kroenke another fifty quid just to keep a piece of plastic up to date.

I will only be going to games ad hoc for the foreseeable future, so I'm considering renting out or at least splitting the cost of my Silver membership for next year to someone who will use more times than I will. A Silver membership is better than having a season ticket so I can't bring myself to get rid of it.

yes renting it to someone for the season makes sense - i've seen there's a few people with STs doing that too for the coming season - i guess they just want to sit out the "rebuilding" era

i have just renewed my ST as somehow i still enjoy the whole thing around going to games and i love my seat and knowing it's reserved for me but don't blame anyone who's had enough

at least with Ticket Exchange i can sell it when I'm not going along
