Easy to say that when it's not someone you know who's suffered such a serious illness. He's their team-mate and friend, and getting over the trauma of witnessing someone you know suffering a cardiac arrest isn't easy.
If they can't or won't play then there's rules for that. They are out and the opponents gets a bye. Are people suggesting the rules should be changed? Why?
