He stands to make much more money by running down his contracts. Hefty signing on fees and hyper-wages, because there's no fee attached.
I don't think he's ever left mid-contract, which on the outside may look admirable, but really, it's a means to hiking up his cash haul.
He's a trained lawyer isn't he....so, he's not exactly stupid.

I have no problem with Flamini did. I'd have loved it if he stayed but AC came calling and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity for a poor boy growing up in France.
3 months ago I didn't expect us to be here a few days from deadline day having only picked up a couple of strays in Sanogo and Flamini. Not even in my worst case scenario did I picture this.
