Why has all the nice weather been when I've been working

    Stinking hot out there today.

May have to dine out in a pub beer garden later this week....

Back from 4 days in Devon. Good weather. Beautiful scenery. Starting new job on Monday 8th. Been out since March. Hope I can remember everything!

Hope the new job goes well. When I started my new job I did think "I hope I can still do this!" (I had loads to learn and it's been a while since I've been thrown in the deep end like that). I can though and it's been a lot of fun learning new things, I'd got way too entrenched in my rut at the old place.

"Phew, What A Scorcher" as our good friends at The Sun would say.

Jofnn is poking our hosts (stop it) with sticks so hopefully we'll get this site upgraded.

I'm deliberating about whether to cancel my redundancy insurance It would pay my mortgage for a year but I only have a 2 year contract so if that's not renewed they wouldn't pay out as I knew it was only a short term contract. On the other hand the policy does cover illness and accident which stops me working too. On the other hand I do also have a life insurance policy which covers my mortgage too.
This policy is quite expensive, about £45 a month, so...I dunno.
