It's better to burn out, than to fade away.
Nice to be home in some ways but the weather was so lovely over there. I looked out of the window as we crossed the Irish Sea and it was all cloud.
Not sure I'm fussed about going to Vegas again but glad I've done it. Crazy, crazy place. And the Grand Canyon was spectacular.
You went at the right time for the weather. I went at the height of summer and it was horrific to walk outside during the day. Lovely at night though.

In the summer...well, I've been to Dubai in May so I can imagine what it would be like, no fun at all.
I do wonder how Premier Inn makes any money with their "Good Night Guarantee" policy.
They don't seem to investigate anything that goes on, I've claimed so many times by making up some drivel about why I didn't enjoy my stay yet they seem to refund me immediately.
What a company.

If you avoid logging in to GW then everything gradually speeds back up again.

I must admit. Watching the paint dry on this place is actually worse than working.
There were days when I could spend the whole day on here with #topbants and it would fly by.

I may check this place from time to time on my phone while at work but there is no way I'd do it from my work laptop. I think there are a lot more workplace controls in general to prevent people misusing IT to waste the day away on chat forums.
