19-1, Lyth goes for a stunning 10.
England have scored 19 runs in 12 overs.
Bell edges, drops short of Clarke.
England 153-5, Cook is trying to grind it out but I don't really see the point, nobody else is batting around him.
175-5 now, Cook is on 79.
203-6, Cook goes for 83.
And the close of play. A test match getting to the fourth day.
Australia win by an innings and 46 runs, England win the series 3-2.
The Ashes.
Welcome back.
Strange series, Australia scored more runs and took more wickets than we did
Our batting been a big problem for years, Cook used to be a century making machine but just lost his edge
Inconsistent really....Joe Root player of the series
Lack of real drama in any of the matches.....not one going to a fifth day....is this the way Test Cricket is going?
Test Cricket isn't going any particular way, apart from down. run rates are a bit faster now, and scored a little higher - all to do with flatter pitches and better bats. Shot selection was more important when you couldn't top edge a short ball for six.
Off to the Oval now to watch Surrey in the old benson and hedges. Looking forward to a good knock from sangakarra and good bowling by the curran brothers.
Glos beat Surrey in the RLODC final. Epic match, last over victory from a seemingly impossible situation. Sam Curran is a helluva player. Barely17 years old, bowls like Anderson and bats like Pieterson.
