How the ****ing hell can Steve Stone & Ashley Young be on the list of wingers, but no Kinkladze? I know who I'd rather have parted with £20 to watch.
I loved Peacey & Barnes, pheonmenal players but can't even remember them playing in the P.L. I suppose Pearce was in Euro 96 so he must have done.
I can think of better suggestions for an award than 'celebration' -
Beckham's hit & hope lob sticks out a mile amongst the other 9 goals for shiteness. Le Tiss got 10 better PL goals than that on his own, so did Bergkamp & Henry. Limpar's lob (season before PL) was twice the goal of Beckham but no c**t ever shows that.
Put Irwin, Mc Grath & Le Tiss in my team, pity Zola had to miss out as I like all of them. The rest were Arsenal and deservedly so.
My team:
Seaman
Neville - Adams - Terry - Cole
Ronaldo - Vieira - Keane - Giggs
Henry - Bergkamp
Vieria and Keane would be too similar. Vieria and Scholes, that would be immense.
Für eure Sicherheit
Alan Shearers best XI
Schmeichel
Neville, Vidic, Adams, Irwin
Ronaldo, Vieira, Scholes, Giggs
Cantona, Henry
He didnt pick himself on purpose although he'd be in most peoples team seeing as he was the best striker around
No RVN?Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown reveals his all-time Premier League XI on BBC Radio 5 live: Schmeichel, G Neville, Stam, Adams, Ashley Cole, Vieira, Keane, Giggs, Bergkamp, Henry, Gerrard
Rooney's overhead kick wins best goal
Bergkamp vs Newcastle and Henry vs United came 2nd and 3rd.
RVP's flying volley versus Charlton woz robbed. As usual.
Disgusting that Neil Mellor wasn't represented on that shortlist.
