You earn the coaching badges by actually coaching, it wouldn't make sense otherwise.

Player coach. He can lead by example and teach our idiots how to play, and the old coaches can teach him their trade. Win win for all. Get him

Yes we should get him back at the club. This would be a good start in changing the mentality on the pitch at the club. We need to bring back players who know what sacrifices you have to make to win, who know what an honor it is to play for the club and who know how much the club means to the fans. Everyone goes on about how much disconnect there is between the players and the fans/history of the club and this is a positive move in the right direction. Vieira was always in the fight on the pitch whether it was versus United or against a team like Sunderland, it didnt matter to him who it was as long as 100% was given and we picked up the win. Bring DB10 back while we are at it too.

it would be the equivalent of Labour bringing back Tony Blair to try and win the election... except millions of people have more respect for Vieira!

It appears that City may still be paving a way for him to PLAY next season, whereas we can't offer such an option.

Fairy nuff. He's still a "living legend" as the article states (although that phrase is now synonymous with Chris Jericho!)

Vieria and Co didn't need specters of the past to whip them into shape, I don't see why this lot need any. I think the team itself is about 2 years away from playing in there prime, however, this habbit of losing is going to be difficult to shake unless some action is taken with this squad.

He's a winner, more chance of winning at City tbh.
