Conceded early, game plan went out the window and we had no response. This usually happens when we concede the first goal, we're not a side who can swamp the opposition and create a bunch of chances to haul ourselves back into a match. They're built to contain and be efficient with their attacking.
We always start matches on auto-pilot. The only difference this time is that we were facing a side good enough to take advantage of that.
Bitterly disappointing and quite easy to see why we're seen as a third wheel in this title race.
Big win needed on Wednesday now.
Didn't turn up. Liverpool did. At this level you'll get a pasting under those circumstances.
Tactics bad - unforgivable. Team selection bad - limited options, just about forgivable. Failure to adjust was bad too but then again at 4-0 down at HT you'd really need Ronaldo and Messi coming off the bench.
First goal was offside and an absolute fluke. Then a set piece and pretty much game over. Bad reaction though, nobody stepped up except Jack in bursts.
Media clueless again of course, now wondering why Liverpool can't win title. That's how ridiculous they are. If we beat Utd then they'll be wondering why we can't win it. If the tea lady does something clever she'll be favourite.
