It seems AW loves a deadline day deal (Arshavin, Ozil recent ones) and this Drax thing could drag on until tomorrow night.

He is worse... If Bendtner ever got regular playing time his goal scoring average would be way better than his, right now its the same.

Leaving it this late just makes it more likely for a deal to break down.
We've had all of Jan to get a move on, and I'd had thought the board would've learned from the summer.
Wenger would only announce any deal as being 'close' if the ink is drying on the contract.....
