Kinda agree, but it's only new cars. It's not like in 2030 we're all going to have to turn our cars in and get a new electric one. In practice it'll take a lot longer for many people to transition.
They've dropped hundreds of billions on Covid and created a hog stampede for contracts. The end goal is not important, it's all about the money, who gets it and who picks up the bill.
