As for Cena's turn, I don't know, they can't do it until they decide they don't want to market him at kids. Unless the kids are too stupid to realise he is being a heel.

Is WWE 12 as good as it looks or is it Smackdown v Raw with just a different name?
It's essentially the same, though Road to Wrestlemania is one continuous story leading from one wrestler to another, rather than doing the same path multiple times with different wrestlers. I didn't have last years version but it is a bit more fluid in play - I can't help but feel the amount of moves you can do is limited. Having said that, I haven't made my own wrestler yet and the standard rosters do tend to just have armlock, punch, german suplex, pumphandle slam. There's barely info on screen as well (it's default setting is to hide the energy bar and you can't ever bring them up for the CPU).
On another note of aMichael Cole is on commentary too which automatically gives it a negative rating, even if it probably is the best one I have played since No Mercy.

RAW was good. Laurinaitis made me laugh out loud, twice.
Good stuff. I really hate the 'distraction finish' though. Ref-bump and interference - fine. Staring at/chasing after someone not in the match and forgetting about your opponent - not fine.
