    I suppose I wouldn’t blame him if he went with experience, at least until any European hopes are over - if match day income is gone for the foreseeable, then there’s going to be some massive pressure on him to at least make the EL spots.

    But as soon as we’ve got nothing much to play for I want to see us prepping hard for next season. If that means dropping anyone who we may need to sell to cut costs / raise funds, then that’s fine - protect those sales and focus on the future.

    agree, i get the sense most of the people on this board haven't actually been near a football ground for many years, if at all - if you go to games it's the social aspect around it etc that is what makes it important, and yes seeing the game live where you can choose who to watch and see it all in front of you instead of what the TV chooses to show

    Doesn't necessarily have to be matchgoing, if you've got a solid group around you going to the pub, going round each other's houses and whatnot there's value in that too.
