I would like to see us at the Man Utd level. A net spend of 20-30 million pounds is reasonable when you think about the ticket prices, Arsenals fan following, TV money and CL money. Sure, we cannot compete all the time with the 50-60 million quid transfers but we should be one of the names when it comes to 20-30 million quid range. Players like Costa, Higuain, Dzeko, Draxler etc come in that range.

I agree.. but I'm considering net spend really. So if we can get Suarez for 50 million (never going to happen) and get 20 million for outgoing player(s), then thats good enough for me. But to not spend a single penny, like what happened this winter transfer window, when the need was visible to every tom dick and harry, was just criminal.
