Vote monster raving looney and encourage as many as possible to do likewise. Maybe if we get a few elected and piss off wenger and the board the politicians stuck in the same rut, they might change their habits. (Is everything on the planet like this?)

So you get a vote once every four years, and you use to it vote for someone that, if elected (and enough people took your foolish advice), you didn't agree with, and would be a poor MP??

    Good logic.

All this tactical voting stuff is utter gash. As is the voting system.

I'm an idealist and vote for who I believe in - If that had happened to be a Green party member licking Obama's balls then at least I'd have the balls to admit I were partly responsible instead of posting a LMFAO oh look at him (nothing to do with me)

A poor MP? Good job we have none at the moment.

Glad you are making a contribution to the interesting debate though.

It's not an interesting debate. It's childish shite.

As far as poor MP's go, I'd rather have somebody who can be held accountable by, and can gain the backing of a larger party, than a lone voice (muttering "Raving Loony" comments) in the house.

Voters generally get the politicians they deserve, life would be very dull if we all got what we wanted, well, until my turn anyway

Tory leaders are never held accountable by their party for their policies and actions. The only sin a Tory leader can commit is to lose an election. They can have all old people gassed, workers flogged for doing less than 20 hours work a day - that will be permitted and voted for. But they must win the next election by whatever means are necessary. Even Thatcher was caught by that rule - as soon as it became likely she would lose the next election, she was replaced. The same will happen to Cameron.

This does not happen with the Monster Raving Looney Party. As long as the bow tie continues to rotate, the candidate is safe.
