Hard to know what you mean by that. Many overrated nobodies of little to no talent have been assigned top jobs. Politics couldn't work otherwise, for example. So when he fails, the observation of him being overrated will be again be validated in the same way his non-event of a career at everton can be characterised. Talk about Mr Mediocre, Moyes is the classic example, with his dreadful anti-football. He may change the habits of a lifetime I suppose, but we'll have to wait and see. Doubt it. Listening to Utd fans encouraging the base to "give him a chance", is indication enough of how Moyes is really regarded, is it not?

End of an era for Utd, tbh.

They (Utd owners/Board) know this better than anyone else, hence the appointment of Moyes to keep them in the mix of things till they feel they can be a dominant force once more.

Sacked after a year with Wenger free to replace him and rejoin his beloved RvC
Society is now one polished horde
Formed by two mighty tribes, the bores and the bored.

"After all, it was the Gunners’ goalkeeper who started the move that culminated in Thomas’ crowning glory. It was Lukic who, in injury time, decided to throw the ball out to Lee Dixon rather than lump it long..."

SSN - £12m bid for Baines rejected

Seems like United will get him for £15m-£17m

On the BBC website now: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23083753

Though it is a McNumpty article.

Despite Baines' free-kicks, he's not a better player than Evra. And what happens to Dennis Buttner?

Baines seems an unnecessary short-term signing. Or a sign that Moyes is doing a Crooknapp and just keeping his old boys together. Hibbert and Anichebe next?

Anichebe is a cert because Utd don't really have a big lump they can hoof the ball 60 yards to.
