    OMG

    OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGG GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

I cannot believe it, I thought it would be summer 2019 when he left.

He was a great manager more than 15 years ago, but about 15 years ago he changed, I think it was when the Russian came to Chelsea, and has got worse and worse and worse and worse and worse and then even worse.

The biggest thing is, Arsenal's season will not be predictable any more.

I want an established manager to succeed him, like Conte, Jardim, Allegri or Ancelotti.

I will not feel sad when Wenger leaves because he has done a terrible job for far too many years.

    Ty doesn't post here.

Critical mass was reached - most probably thanks to those fans who made the empty seats in the stadium so obvious. Almost everyone will flip now. New Arsenal. A few will hang on but it'll be a small number. Insignificant.

Complaint can be normalised now. If the manager is doing a bad job people can say he is doing a bad job without having to refer back 2 decades to when he was doing a good job. And he can be sacked without all those barricades in place to protect him. The new guy is going to have to deliver, just as it is with any other club.

It'll take a while for this normality to sink in.

We're like kidnap victims, released into sunshine. Everything is strange for a while. And I'll probably have dreams that Wenger has signed a new contract. And then I'll wake up and everything will be okay.

You'd hope so but Arsenal have such a warped fanbase it's hard to be sure.

Everything was building up to an unstoppable crescendo. The Times article Letters posted was probably the last straw that broke the backbone. When the whole world is starting to say you are shit. Even blind men start to see the light. That and the fans that voted with their feet.

Even so I expected Arsene to tough it out till next season. He was still making transfer noises up til yesterday

He can have him. Provided the bloke comes nowhere near AFC.

At least this should ensure our match against Huddersfield is televised.
