What are you going to do about that? Is it going to be 15 minutes of lamentation or a real appreciation? If you genuinely appreciate the guy and his music then forget about the chest thumping and DO SOMETHING.

Everything else is BULLSHIT, btw. Transient BULLSHIT.

I won't hold my breath because in the end even Lennon couldn't cause a ripple.
What are you doing about it, if you don't mind me asking?

I've listened to the mans music for decades, and I've shared his music with others through all kinds of mediums, I've sung along at the top of my voice with friends as his music played. I won't go into the personal reasons as to why I feel sad about his loss, but at the same time, stop lumping me in with those who may be ignorant to his message. My appreciation goes further than 15 minutes. Your post is as lazy as the journos you detest.

The very fact that this has had massive media coverage is (for once) a good thing, as it will open new eyes and ears to what Bowie was doing.

I agree with a lot or what you say, and share a lot of the frustrations you have; but not everything is twisted, shrunken and sour.

Drunk as a skunk. Liable to say whatever pops into my head. Can't even remember typing that. But what I will say is, fuck, great typing considering.
