In fairness to SSN well, kinda. They do say Bale received a booking for diving, which is incorrect but at least they're prepared to mention it, unfortunately it is just matter-of-factly and then they move on to the next incident in the match.

And as you say they're only bringing it up because he had an awful game generally, rather than the actual dive itself before moving on at lightspeed to comfort him for the horror challenge by the thug Skrtel. Had it been the other way round with Agger trying to sully Bale's good name...
