An absolute roaster. The perfect representation of the Tory party.

Whoever votes for these wankers should be shot dead in front of their children.

My comment was provoked by some Panorama about the downfall of Johnson.
There was Rees-Mogg still defending Johnson, still proclaiming him to be honest despite years of demonstrable lies.
    Oh just fuck off!

Winchester, Oxford and Stanford Fulbright where he met his wife whose dad was a globalist mover and shaker specialising in outsourcing and cosy handshakes for lucrative, no competition government contracts. New dad-in-law meets Dave Cameron and the party donor list gets an erection. Coincidentally, the new son-in-law decides he wants to get into politics and is fortunate enough to land one of the safest Tory seats in the land on the first attempt. Duly (s)elected he wipes the arse of Javid for an immodestly short period before ascending to the number 2 spot in British politics. Now, with a lifetime of service spanning 7 years experience under his belt (during which he presided over one of the most poorly administered and fraud ridden handout schemes on record and having sown the seeds of hyperinflation) he stands as favourite to take the big chair. Where, presumably, he will pursue his openly stated ambition to dispense with the national economy and embrace the emerging global model promoted by the self-appointed bigwigs at the WEF, who just so happen to have close ties with bright young things emerging from Winchester, Oxford and Stanford.

It won't be the people deciding to hand the wheel to this ballistically ascending puppet. It will be a collection of Tories who rather enjoy concepts like outsourcing and slum rents who make the call. The people who benefit most from the globalist project which extracts the most from the "represented" citizen. We will own nothing and be happy.

It's a good thing we live in a democracy or this might seem like a mighty stitch-up. Even so, there's hope. Sometimes these "servants" of the planet don't get their way and they end up being Trumped. Not much else to see in that field of runners though. Can't spot anyone with a spine or a hint of a desire to stand for the people of this nation, rather than the parasites trying to sell a nation.

It's weird, because isn't it supposed to be different this time? Lessons learned and all that? If at first, second, third, fourth and ninetieth attempt you don't succeed, keep doing the same thing again and again.

These leaders debates are an amazing gift to the Labour Party.

There won’t be an election for a couple of years.
You’d like to think the way they’ve behaved would make a difference but people are idiots and have short memories

It depends on who they elect as leader to some degree.

Obviously with Truss or Sunak, they were key people in Johnson’s cabinet and so the attacks labour will make will likely stick (but as I’ve said before, its a bit rich of starmer to preach about integrity when he propped up corbyn and did nothing while Jewish MPs were bullied out the party). Kemi Bardenoch & Morduant have been ministers under johnson but i doubt many will know who they are or what they did. If they had resigned at height of partygate, it probably wouldn’t have resulted in johnson being brought down unlike when Javid & Sunak went.

With Tugendhat, labour would struggle to make the Johnson government actions stick on him. He has been a vocal critic of johnson and voted against some of his policies (notably the national insurance increase). While he was a backbench MP, he can claim some separation from government. To quote him, a clean slate, would mean labour would struggle to attack him over johnson unlike with Sunak or Truss.

Personally i think Tugendhat hsould win if the tories are serious about government, the others are idiots. Sunak pitch is on rebuilding the economy and getting inflation/tax under control as if he hasn’t just been chancellor

The numbers are aligning for Cosplaying Maggie Thatcher to be the next prime minister

Unless we discover that her being a vapid moron was just an act, this feels to me like the Tories calling time on their period in government.

Labour are awful, god awful….anyone who would make David Lammy shadow foreign Secretary deserves to be a trial candidate for pioneering neurosurgery.

But I don’t think it matters. I don’t think Starmer is good enough to be prime minister, but when you make Liz Truss the leader of your party you’ve essentially said “fuck it were done”

Shame that things won’t improve under Labour but, will be nice to see the Tories gone after last 12 years

Sunak seems more likely to me, but I don't know what I'm talking about, so...

If the voting was done purely by Tory MPs Sunak would win, but he’s behind Truss by between 20-25 points amongst the members.

This is the problem we have in our politics, the worst kind of people end up in high positions because it’s the swivel eyed zealots that call the shots (doubly true in America). For me when a party is in government and is changing leaders mid term it should be purely up to the MPs who were elected by the ordinary voters who get to choose the next leader.

And whilst Sunak is married to a tax dodging Non Dom which should by rights rule him out of the top job he’s the least worst of the remaining three.
